Anomalous transport in a tokamak due to neoclassical modes induced by the pressure gradient
Description
The problem of the turbulent plasma transport in a tokamak resulting from neoclassical modes excited by a pressure gradient is analyzed. The analysis method is based on the invariance of the nonlinear equations under scaling. The diffusion coefficient and the stochastic electron thermal conductivity are derived as functions of the local values of the plasma parameters. The results are compared with those of mixing-length theory
