Poor man's gravity
Description
Einstein's standard matter-free theory of gravitation is constructed as the synthesis of two Yang-Mills theories, whose gauge groups are GLsub(4,R) and SLsub(2,C). In this approach the vierbein is not regarded as a Yang-Mills field, but rather as a mapping between the two-group manifolds. (author)
