Experimental studies on the dose distribution during electron therapy in the larynx region
Description
The article reports on experimentally determined dose distributions during electron therapy in the larynx region. According to these experiments, the best results are achieved with a five-fields cross-five stationary-field irradiation over three anterior and thwo posterior fields at a fixed focus-skin distance, field size, and direction of arrival, as well as with a telectric pendulum irradiation with scattering foil 0. Es wird ueber experimentell ermittelte Dosisverteilungen bei Elektronentherapie im Larynxbereich berichtet. Guenstigste Bedingungen fuer die Behandlung des Larynxkarzinoms mit Elektronen bietet demnach eine Fuenf-Felder-Kreuzfeuer-Stehfeldbestrahlung ueber drei anteriore und zwei posteriore Felder bei bestimmtem Fokus-Haut-Abstand, Feldgroesse und Einstrahlrichtung, sowie eine telezentrische Pendelbestrahlung bei Streufolie 0.
