Microstructural instability of austenitic-ferritic steels aging at 300-500 deg C intermediary temperatures

Description
Microstructural instability of thermal aged of austenitic-ferritic stainless steels for PWR primary coolant circuits elbows is controlled by small angle neutron diffusion and with an atomic probe associated to ionic microscopy. Aging of ferrite is measured by chromium profiles and microhardness of the ferrite phase. (A.B.). 12 refs., 1 fig
