Description
The problems on the spent nuclear fuels removal from the research reactors, constructed by the USA in other countries, as well as application of the low-enriched fuel and certain events, related to the research reactors operation and construction are considered. In particular, the case of complete disconnection of the protection system at the Phebus experimental reactor in France during the periodical test of the controlling rods is analyzed. The above incident is related to the second level one by the INES international scale. It is noted also, that financing the construction of a new research reactor in Canada, the construction whereof is opposed by the antinuclear groups, will start in the nearest time

Рассмотрены вопросы вывода отработавшего ядерного топлива из исследовательских реакторов, построенных США в других странах, а также использование низкообагащенного топлива и некоторые события, относящиеся к эксплуатации и строительству исследовательских реакторов. В частности, анализируется случай полного отключения системы защиты французского экспериментального реактора Phebus во время периодического испытания регулирующих стрежней. Инцидент отнесен ко второму уровню по международной шкале INES. Отмечается также, что финансирование строительства нового исследовательского реактора в Канаде, сооружению которого противодействуют антиядерные группы, будет начато в ближайшее времяAdditional details
