Theory of polarized muon-photon shower in crystals formed of circular polarized γ-quanta

Description

One investigated theoretically into development of a cascade photon-muon shower in crystalline medium formed by primary circularly polarized γ-quantum. One studied distribution functions of shower muons and γ-quanta depending on depth of penetration in medium, energies and polarization characteristics of shower particles. One determined favorable cases of polarization of shower muons and photons

Abstract (Russian)

Проведено теоретическое рассмотрение развития каскадного фотонно-мюонного ливня в кристаллической среде, образованного первичным циркулярно поляризованным γ-квантом. Исследованы функции распределения ливневых мюонов и γ-квантов в зависимости от глубины проникновения в среду, энергии и поляризационных характеристик ливневых частиц. Определены благоприятные случаи поляризации ливневых мюонов и фотонов
