Description
This document is to introduce the characteristics of the uranium bearing waste and examination situation of the clearance, which occurs from each process of nuclear fuel cycle facilities such as milling, conversion, enrichment, re-conversion and palletizing. As the contents of this document, it deal with (1) the characteristics of uranium bearing waste, (2) quantity of uranium bearing waste, (3) domestic examination situation of the clearance, (4) outline of IAEA safety guide RS-G-1.7 and (5) the clearance example in several foreign countries.
