Description

Power Point presentations proposed by members of the ASN, IRSN, ANDRA or local information commissions (CLI) first address some generalities regarding the Cigeo project of disposal of high-level and intermediate level long-lived radioactive wastes: history and next steps of the information file for the Cigeo projects, points of view on the conclusions of the public debate on Cigeo and of the citizen conference. A set of contributions addresses the issues of reversibility and recoverability: activities performed by a work-group on reversibility, opinion of the ANDRA on reversibility, opinion of the IRSN. A contribution addresses the issues on potential energy resources, and two contributions address the issue of lack of resources: social and economic aspects and exploitability on a short term of geological identified resources, opinion of the IRSN on the geothermal resource. A last set of contributions deals with the disposal safety regarding intrusion (IRSN approach to expertise the risk of intrusion for the disposal, intrusion scenarios taken into account by the ASN)
