Development and verification of the steam activated products source term code--SCAS
Description
SCAS is the source term code to calculate steam activation products in secondary loop of reactor, which is developed by Nuclear Power Institute of China. In order to calculate 16N and 17N source term both in primary loop and in secondary loop, two different geometry models were established, and two different approach were used to verify the reliability of code. It's conclusion shows that SCAS can be not only used to calculate 16N and 17N source term in secondary loop without reactor core system, but also used to calculate in primary loop with reactor core system
