Experimental study of microdosimetry of low energy 14N+ ions
- 1. Academia Sinica, Lanzhou (China). Inst. of Modern Physics
Description
Measurement of microdosimetric spectrum and radial dose distribution of 14N+1 ions with energy of 66-119 keV after passing through a PET (C80H8O4) film with a thickness of 4μm were presented. As a function of 14N+1 ion energy and beam intensity I, the dose-mean specific energy by single event z1D was measured. The dependence of 14N+1 ion range in PET film on ion energy was calculated by TIRM92 Monte Carlo program. The results of measurements and calculations were compared and discussed
