Process to weld angle cells of fuel rods grids for nuclear reactor
Description
Process for welding grid frame components for a nuclear reactor supply assembly. The grid is placed in a mounting with open angle areas in which is placed a tool having an opening above the covering ends of the frame components. The whole assembly is transported on to an electrode which applies against the covering ends of the frame, an electrode of opposite polarity being brought into contact with the ends facing the first electrode, joining them by a weld spot without distorting the frame bars

Procede pour souder les elements d'encadrement d'une grille pour un ensemble d'alimentation de reacteurs nucleaires. La grille est placee dans une monture ayant des zones d'angle ouvertes, dans lesquelles on place un outil ayant une ouverture au-dessus des extremites recouvrantes des elements d'encadrement, l'ensemble etant transporte sur une electrode qui vient s'appliquer contre les extremites recouvrantes du cadre, une electrode ayant la polarite opposee etant amenee au contact des extremites en face de la premiere electrode, les solidarisant par un point de soudure en evitant ainsi la deformation des barrettes d'encadrementAdditional details
