Waveform integration method for measuring position resolution of PET detectors

Description
The waveform integration method is used to acquire the signal. The 2-D position map of the PET detector is obtained, and the look-up table is calculated using the watershed algorithm. A 10 × 10 LYSO with a pixel size of 2.0 mm and 1.6 mm and a 1.6 mm 12 × 12 crystal array detector are directly coupled to the photomultiplier tube. Based on the 1 GHz sampling frequency ADQ synchronous data acquisition card, the optimal PET detector 2-D position map was obtained by waveform integration method. Experiments show that 10 × 10 LYSO crystals with 2.0 mm, 1.6 mm pixels, and 12 × 12 PET detectors with 1.6 mm, the positional discrimination of individual crystal strips reaches 0.28 mm, 0.20 mm, and 0.19 mm F WHM, the average peak-to-valley ratio is 3.23, 4.26, and 3.46, respectively. The LYSO array crystal PET detector module can be used in the construction of PET system. . (authors)
