Osteosarcomas and morphological changes in rat thymus under the combined effect of γ-radiation and 239Pu
Description
Under the combined effect of external γ-radiation and 239Pu, osteosarcomas occur more frequently and earlier times, and hve more pronounced multicentric pattern of growth and metastatic spreading than it occurs with thetwo agent delivered separartly. The difference is in increased development of tumors and the decreased oateogenesis. Tumor carriers develop atrophy of thymus lymphoid tissue more frequently than normal ones
