Preparation of tritiated phenyl-substituted onium derivatives of antimony, tellurium and iodine by means of ion-molecular reactions

Description

The work was devoted to a study of the products of the reactions of tritiated phenyl cations, arising in the β decay of tritium contained in benzene, with complete phenyl derivatives of antimony, tellurium, and iodine. It was shown that the products of such reactions are the tritiated initial phenyl derivatives, biphenyl, and the corresponding phenyl-substituted onium derivative. The large relative yields of the latter (approximately 50%) permit the use of the proposed method for the synthesis of tritiated onium derivatives of antimony, tellurium, and iodine
