Report of the SRC for the year 1974-75

The organisation and financing of the Science Research Council and its several activities are described. Separate accounts are given of the work of the research boards, as follows: Astronomy, Space and Radio Board (including astronomy in the radio-, X-ray-, infrared-, visible- and ultraviolet-wavelength regions, cosmic ray research, theoretical astronomy, solar physics, the moon and planets; magnetosphere, ionosphere and atmosphere of the earth); Engineering Board; Nuclear Physics Board (including high energy physics, nuclear structure physics; central facilities, particularly those at the Rutherford and Daresbury Laboratories); Science Board.
