Electromagnetic N-N* transition form factors
Description
We define constraint-free electromagnetic N-N*(J) transition form factors for general abnormal and normal parity transitions and relate them to multipole and helicity transition form factors. Possible parametrizations of the constraint-free form factors are discussed, and various theoretically motivated simplifications are considered which are then compared to the available transition form factor data. If analysed in terms of the constraint-free form factors, a very simple picture is obtained for the three leading resonances P33, D13, and F15. (orig.)

Wir legen zwangsfreie elektromagnetische N-N*(J)-Uebergangsfaktoren fuer allgemeine anomale und normale Paritaetsuebergaenge fest und setzen sie zu Multipol- und Helizitaetsformfaktoren in Beziehung. Moegliche Parametrisierungen der zwangsfreien Fomfaktoren werden diskutiert und verschiedene theoretisch motivierte Vereinfachungen betrachtet, die dann mit den vorhandenen Daten ueber Uebergangsformfaktoren verglichen werden. Analysiert man die drei Hauptresonanzen P33, D13 und F15 mit Hilfe der zwangsfreien Formfaktoren, so ergibt sich ein sehr einfaches Bild. (orig./BJ)
