Electronic transport in organic polymers under electron bombardment

Description

A pulsed electron bombardment technique has been used to study the electronic transport and carrier yield in polystyrene, polyethylene terephthalate and polytetrafluoroethylene. The effects of trapping, impurities and radiation damage as well as the generation and recombination of carriers are considered. A mechanism for electron bombardment conductivity is derived. (U.K.)
