Winter Package and Demographic Problems in Croatia

Creators

Description

There were 18 discussion questions in the announcement for the 26th Forum and they are answered in this paper, with an emphasis on increase in employment. Winter Package has expanded the role of DSO, which has become 'electricity generator' thanks to the renewable energy sources and is now developing its autonomous energy infrastructure and market on distribution level. If we use our own resources (wood biomass) and develop smaller wood biomass cogeneration plants as well as Central Heating Systems, we will get the possibility of a cheaper energy generation nearby such plants, DSO can use that in its operational work. In so doing, the coordination between OPS and DSO is important, as well as DSO itself as a key for opening distribution level market (HEP Seminar, May 11th, 2017). There have been many meetings lately that addressed 'Croatian energy future'. (author).
