Thermal stability of some inorganic sorbents

  • 1. Voronezhskij Tekhnologicheskij Inst. (USSR)

Description

Thermal stability of inorganic sorbents synthetized from aluminogel and ferrocyanides of copper, iron, magnesium, manganese and zinc has been investigated. The sorbents were studied prior to and after the sorption of cesium ions on them. The proposed method of investigating the thermal stability of inorganic sorbents makes it possible to conduct the analysis in a broad temperature range with a high conformity of results. The method enagles one to define the stages of thermal decomposition of modified aluminogels. A study of derivatograms gives the necessary initial data for the fixation of cesium ions sorption with modified aluminogels
