Studies on the thermodynamics of preparation reaction of 99mTc-MIBI

Description
99mTc-MIBI is a valuable myocardial perfusion imaging agent. In order to explore the optimal condition for the preparation of 99mTc-MIBI, the thermodynamics of preparation reaction was studied using MIBI freeze-dried kit. The result show that the preparation of 99mTc-MIBI exhibits a endothermic reaction. The reaction heat the preparation of 99mTc-MIBI exhibits a endothermic reaction. The reaction heat (ΔH) was equal to 339.2 kJ/mol. In order to make the labelling yield of 99mTc-MIBI higher than 90%, the reaction temperature should be over 77 degree C
