To calculation of a neutron adiabatic spin-flipper
Description
The theoretical treatment of the neutron spin-flipper based on adiabatic passage through magnetic resonance is carried out. An equation for spin motion of a neutron with constant adiabatic parameter has been analytically solved and the relation of this parameter with flipping efficiency has been determined. Numerical calculations for the magnetic fields of different forms have been performed, and quantitative estimations of the adiabatic parameter for spin rotation to 90 deg and 180 deg are presented
