Rb-Sr Age and geochemistry of intrusive granites from Ufaley Zone (Southern Ural)

Description

The first dependable data on isotope composition of rubidium and strontium in granitoids of the Low Ufaley Zone, as well as on isotope age of the granitoids equal to 316.9 ± 2.5 mln. years, have been obtained. It is shown that the rocks of the Low Ufaley massif are the youngest formations completing the magmatism in the Western part of the Low Ufaley Zone

Abstract (Russian)

Получены первые надежные данные по изотопному составу рубидия и стронция в гранитоидах Нижнеуфалейского массива, а также по изотопному возрасту этих гранитоидов, равному 316 ± 2.5 млн. лет. Показано, что породы Нижнеуфалейского массива являются наиболее молодыми образованиями, завершающими магматизм западной части Уфалейской зоны
