Investigation on migration of Uranium in solidified materials
- 1. China Academy of Engineering Physics, Mianyang (China)
- 2. Sichuan Management and Monitoring Center of Radioactive Environment, Chengdu (China)
Description
The sorption and migration behaviors of uranium in soils and cement were studied by column test. The results show that the sorption ratio of soil is bigger than that of cement. Specific radioactivity of 235U in the soil and cement samples is basically the same as that of environmental soil, and specific radioactivity of 235U varies little with the sampling depth. The results should provide valuable information to nuclear facility decommissioning. (authors)
