Description
Using the MD-1 detector at the VEPP-4 e+e- storage ring we have measured the inclusive Λ and Ξ- production rates in direct Y(1S) decays =0.194±0.018±0.017, =0.038±0.015±0.009. The Λ momentum spectrum in direct Y(1S) decays was obtained. We have measured also the inclusive Λ production rate in the continuum at center of mass energies between 7.2 and 10.0 GeV =0.076±0.018±0.015. In the range of cms energies between 7.2 and 9.4 GeV this measurement was performed for the first time. (orig.)
