Description
The resistivity of pure germanium is calculated with several different values of the impurity concentration, both p and n type. It is shown that impurity concentrations which produce only small departures from the standard resistivity of 47 cm at room temperature have very large effect at the normal working temperatures of germanium x-ray and gamma-ray detectors.
