Description
The processes of plasma radiation connected with the presence of multicharged ions of different elements, in it are considered. The review envelopes the theory of bremsstrahlung in the Coulomb and Thomas-Fermi potentials, photorecombination radiation in the Coulomb field, broadening of spectral lines, radiated by ions, radiation losses of thermonuclear plasma energy on multicharged impurities. The main attention is paid to clarification of physical parameters, determining the considered effects and to analysis of different approximations, permitting to give a visible physical picture of the phenomena described. The role of radiation losses in plasma energy balance is analyzed
