Neutron spectra from Am/F and Am/Li (α,n) sources
Description
Spectral measurements on neutrons from an Am/F (α,n) source have been made with a 3He spectrometer; the unfolded spectrum is presented together with covariance error analysis. The results of measurements on two Am/Li sources are also reported and compared with previous published data. Am/Li has been proposed by an IAEA Consultants' meeting as a suitable basis for comparing the spectrometers used in different laboratories for delayed neutron spectral measurements. (Auth.)
