Off-gas system for reactor water
Description
Purpose: To reduce the concentrations of radioactive gases and oxygen in the reactor water to increase the safety of the reactor. Constitution: In reactor power facilities having an exhaust gas disposal system, a suction line communicating the upper space of a reactor vessel of said reactor with the inlet flowpath to said exhaust gas disposal system is provided. When the operation of said reactor is stopped and the temperature of the reactor vessel falls, said suction line is operated, and gases contained in the furnace water within said reactor vessel is removed and led to said gaseous waste disposal system.
