Description
The biological and health impacts of irradiation are discussed based on the latest epidemiologic study of UNSCEAR, published in 1988. Attention is paid to low radiation doses, particularly with respect to their genetic and stimulating effects. A new topic in the UNSCEAR report are problems of perception of radiation hazards. (Z.M.)
