The N-body problem and 1/d expansion
Description
The trajectory family of bound states of a cluster consisting of N identical particles (atoms, molecules etc.) is studied by the 1/d expansion technique (d is the space dimension). In particular, the critical values of the coupling constant corresponding to the formation of a new bound state on increase of the potential are calculated. Approximate formulae for the critical coupling constants of noble gas miroclusters are obtained
