Generation of mass and change of the neutrino helicity in a medium in the presence of right currents

Description
In the symmetric SUL(2)xSUR(2)xU(1) model of electroweak interactions the Dirac neutrino possesses in a medium effective mass, even in the absence of vacuum rest mass (mvvac=0). As a restult the neutrino in such a model has always a four-component wave function in the medium. The left neutrino, produced in a nuclear reaction, becomes right in the material in elastic scattering from nuclei, and more efficiently than in the same process when taking into account the anomalous vacuum magnetic moment.
