Progress and prospect in radiation breeding of ornamental plants

Great progress has been made in the application of nuclear technology in radiation breeding of ornamental plants in recent years. The theory, mechanism, induced material, suitable dose and applications are summarized in the paper. The problems and directions in radiation breeding of ornamental plants are also discussed.
