Description

The report on work package 3 of the preliminary safety analysis of the site Gorleben in the frame of nuclear phase-out in Germany characterizing the waste quantity structure covers the following issues: Boundary conditions and procedural method; heat generating radioactive waste from power reactors (direct final disposal of spent fuel elements and radioactive waste from reprocessing in other countries and the reprocessing plant in Karlsruhe); heat generating radioactive waste from research and prototype reactors; waste with negligible heat generation.
