Fabrication of a X ray multidetector

This multidetector includes a leak-tight vessel filled with an ionizable gas and, in this vessel, at least one main multidetector unit comprising a flat electrically conducting plate insulated from the vessel and a number of flat electrodes parallel to the plate and insulated from it. This process is characterized in that it consists in making electrodes as well as main connections between these electrodes and measurement points outside the vessel. The main connections are electrically insulated from the vessel and cross it through sealed ways, on the opposite side from the X ray emitting source. Application to the fabrication of X ray multi-detectors for tomography or the radiography of organs, or luggage checking
