Description
Elastic and inelastic scattering of alpha-particles on 54Fe target are measured at incident energy 26 MeV. Angular distribution of elastic scattering is studied by the Optical Model. The deep well potential and the shallow well potential optical parameter are obtained and both fit the experimental results well. By using DWBA and Coupled Channel Theory, in different cases (two channels coupled, three and four channels coupled, with the deep well and the shallow well potential respectively) the angular distribution of elastic and inelastic scattering are analysed. It is shown that only the shallow well potential parameters fit the experiment data well. The deformation parameters of some states are deduced
