De-carbonation barometer. How to de-carbonate deeply and without delay buildings, transports and industry?

This study identified few key messages for the development of de-carbonation in different sectors. The authors discuss how to re-orient efforts towards relevant de-carbonation measures. These measures are assessed with respect to two indicators: the potential of reduction of greenhouse gas emissions, and the economic relevance of measures for the collectivity in terms of avoided CO₂ tons. The authors also propose unavoidable measures to be implemented in the building, transport and industry sectors. They propose assessments of contributions and of costs of emission reductions in these sectors.
