Correction of closed orbit at injection in alternating-gradient synchrotron
Description
Distortions of the closed orbit at injection can be corrected by three methods - harmonic, least squares, and eigenvector method. These methods are treated theoretically and examined through the numerical simulations on KEK-PS by taking account of the effect of errors which are inevitablly encountered in the process of the orbit correction.
