Description

Humic acid (HA) was immobilized onto poly (styrene-co-divinylbenzene) (PSD) gel by γ-ray irradiation. The absorption of methyl-2-benzimidazolybamate (MBC) on HA-immobilized PSD was investigated. The amount of MBC uptake were found to be 1.4-2.7 times as large as that of PSD without immobilization of HA in the wide pH range of 3 to 11. Even after the adsorption-desorption cycle was repeated ten times, its adsorption ability did not change. (author)
