Organization of the ''Personnel'' information system files

The ''Personnel'' automation information system is intended for acquisition, storage, renewal, processing, search and output of information on personnel registration. Organization of the system information files includes: the choice of a format for recording elements of data files, as well as of auxiliary files, the attachment and distribution of file types in devices of computer external memory, the way of dividing files to subfiles to make search system operate effectively. The data structure is also described since it affects strongly the structure of data storage. The system is realized with the BESM-6 computer. Disk packets of the ES-5052 machine serve as external memory. All data files are placed on one disk packet. The disk memory distribution is dynamic. The main algorithm language is FORTRAN
