Early time air fireball model for near surface energy release
Description
A model is developed which gives the radius and temperature as a function of time for the fireball which forms following the release of a large amount of x-ray energy in the atmosphere. The presence of the ground is accounted for in the case of a near surface release of energy. Typical numerical results are given.
