On the additional peak in the luminescence spectrum of mercury diodide

Description
Study of HgI2 nonstoichiometry effect on photoluminescence spectra is carried out to determine the peak occurence conditions. The complexes act only as capture levels in near-the-surface layer, the charge accumulation at which results in deterioration of characteristics HgI2 base gamma-radiation and X-radiation detectors
