Peculiarities of radiochemical separation of nitrogen-13 from complex matrices during activation determination of light elements
Description
The necessity of taking into account chemical forms of stabilizing nitrogen-13 is shown in development of the techniques of its radiochemical separation from optic materials (monocrystals of alkaline earth metal fluorides, fluoride-phosphate glasses), refractories on the base of aluminium, zirconium, silicon oxides used for boiling vessels in obtaining optic media as well as in metals with local carbon impurity distribution. The results indicating the nitrogen-13 chemical reaction proceeding with matrice components with production of nitride, oxynitride, fluoronitride and cyanide stabilization forms are presented. The radiochemical nitrogen-13 separation technique based on the sublimation of volatile compounds (ammonia during the analysis of fluorine-containing optic media) and nitrogen oxide refractories from solution is suggested
