Ionometry in inorganic analysis
Description
An attempt is made to generalize material on the practical use of ionometry (potentiometric analysis using ion-selective electrodes), so as to determine macro- and microcomponents of inorganic substances. The problems of analysis completion in the presence of interfering ions, methods for the increase in the accuracy of potentiometric methods, application of computers for result processing, analysis automation, have been discussed. Direct and indirect methods of determination of certain ions, including alkali and alkaline-earth metals, transition metals (Tc, Ta, Mo), halides, etc., are considered
