Description
Quantum numbers (J values and octahedral symmetry types) of the SF6 transitions from the vibrational ground state to v3=1 that fall near the CO2 P (12) and P (22) laser lines have been assigned. The significance of these assignments for the results of self-induced transparency and photon-echo experiments is discussed briefly
