Description
The new kind of 7XXX series aluminium alloy has low density, high specific strength, and good processing performance, which has a good industrial prospect in the future. In this paper, a series of heat treatment tests combined with mechanical properties testing and microstructure observation, a high temperature strengthening solid solution system suitable for new alloy has been proposed. This solid solution system effectively solves the problem of insufficient solid solution due to high alloy content of new alloy. At the same time, the precipitation behavior of the new alloy at different aging temperatures is analyzed, and the comprehensive performance is presumed to provide a theoretical reference for the aging process selection of the new alloy under different service conditions.
