Abstracts of underground research meeting in fiscal 2003
Description
This report collected abstracts of the title meeting. It consists of three parts, 1) fundamental lecture 'long behavior of rock', 2) summary of underground researches and 3) individual report. The last one contains A) characteristics of geological environment, for example, modeling and boundary condition in order to assess the groundwater flow system in deep underground in Tono, Japan, and politic rock in deep underground in Horonobe. B) Rock mechanics and engineering for ultradeep underground in Mizunami and Horonobe in Japan and C) long stability of geological environment for upheaval, erosion, volcanic activity and active fault. Long stability of geological environment of Horonobe deep underground research program is also contained. (S.Y.)
