Energy and intensity of gamma-rays associated with the alpha-decay of Th-232
- 1. Tohoku Univ., Sendai (Japan). Research Inst. for Iron, Steel and Other Metals
Description
A well-type Ge detector was used to observe the decay γ-rays of 232Th. Two new γ-rays of 63.81 keV and 140.88 keV were observed. The accuracy of the branching ratio of α-decay to the second excited level (4+) of 228Ra was improved to explain the intensity of the 140.88 keV γ-ray. (author)
