Distribution coefficients for 52 elements in hydrochloric acid-water-acetone misture on Dowex 1x8

Description
Results of a systematic study on the adsorbabilities of 52 elements in HCl (1.2M)-water-acetone media on Dowex 1x8 anionic resin have been reported. Some aspects, in regard of aqueous hydrochloric acid medium, are discussed. Most distribution coefficients were obtained radiometrically, some by atomic absorption (Li, Mg). Among the elements there are some fission products, e.g. iodine, strontium and the rare-earth elements. (F.Gy.)
