A study of hard radiation in the decay of the Z to dimuons
Description
A measurement of the cross-section and forward-backward asymmetry of di-muon events in the energy range 20-136 GeV using hard initial state radiation events has been made. This was done using 1990-1995 data collected using the ALEPH detector with a centre of mass energy in the range 89.2-136 GeV. Also using the data collected during 1994 a search for an excited muon has been performed. All results are in agreement with standard model predictions. (author)
