International and national activities in the field of regulations in food irradiation
Description
An historical overview of food irradiation as alimentary preservation process is presented. International guidelines and standards are considered. Especially the position of the Netherlands in the field is discussed and compared with other countries. Also the problem of labelling irradiated alimentary products is paid attention to. (G.J.P.)
